2021 GMC Sierra AT4 price

The 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 is going to be one of the most interesting trucks in the market next season. We can say the all-terrain 4×4 package is going to be the respectable competitor to the Raptor edition of the Ford F-150. Numerous exterior and drivetrain upgrades will make the off-roading more fun. Still, the Sierra 1500 is pretty versatile, and you can sacrifice performance to drop the price, or you can add more money to make the truck more luxurious. The Denali package is the ultimate trim, but it can’t offer the same ride impression as AT4.

The success of the package led to doubling up the lineup. Initially, the AT4 was available on three models, and now Canyon truck, Yukon SUV, and Terrain crossover are joining the fleet. Well, the company is not making big moves for the 2021 GMC Sierra AT4, since the focus was on adapting the package on the new vehicles. GMC is growing and the off-road capabilities of their models can beat their mechanical brothers with the bow-tie badge.

2021 GMC Sierra AT4 Specs

The 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 will need a lot of power to provide a smooth ride on tough terrains. That is why General Motors is dropping everything besides the V8 from the lineup. The truck will offer a 5.3-liter as the base unit and 355 horsepower with 383 lb-ft of torque. There are also two configurations with an eight- or ten-speed transmission, available only for the entry-level engine. The dynamic fuel management feature will save some gas, but do not expect a generous return when going off the road.

The fuel economy will drop even more with a 6.2-liter V8 engine. This is one of the largest units the GM is offering and serious off-roading will be supported with 420 ponies and 460 lb-ft of torque. A ten-pace gearbox is the only power router for this one. At the same price, you can replace a petrol engine with a turbodiesel mill. A 3.0-liter Duramax I6 can create 277 hp and 460 lb-ft. The freshest powerplant in the family still draws the most attention. Nevertheless, these units are available with standard packages and special upgrades make the AT4 a mean 4×4 truck.

2021 GMC Sierra AT4 Upgrades

The AT4 package upgrades the truck with some of the most advanced systems General Motors is offering. Plus, there are unique accessories only for this model. For example, the truck will get the MultiPro tailgate with six different setups. It will make towing more convenient, especially with the spray-on bedliner. A 2-inch lift will increase the ground clearance and you won’t need aftermarket tuning. It will cut your warranty as well. So, now GM is taking care of lifting. There is also a 2-speed transfer case and special tuning of suspension for an off-road drive. Rancho shocks will make a ride smoother. Skidplates protect the body. Finally, a dual exhaust system is available both for petrol and diesel engines.

The interior is covered with leather. A highlight of the multimedia system is an 8-inch screen. Profiles are fully customizable in the GMC Infotainment service. Special upgrades included through optional purchases are Kicker audio for MultiPro tailgate or CarbonPro composite bed. Plus, you can always take the safety to the new level with lance assist systems or blind zone monitoring. A trailering camera is the latest addition.

Competition

Off-road trucks will always be popular. The 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 is catching up with the competition since the brand is not as popular as Chevy or Ford. The Blue Oval company is delivering the best-known Raptor pickup with a high-output V6 engine and 450 hp. Chevrolet is yet to respond with the ZR2 and Z71 is a replacement for now. Toyota made a breakthrough when Tundra got the TRD Pro package. Even with less power, this is one of the best 4×4 trucks in the US. We believe that Nissan Titan Pro-4X is usually unfairly dropped from these comparisons. The Japanese company upgraded the truck in every segment and it can be called a rival to the AT4 by GMC. Ram Rebel TRX is a league for itself.

2021 GMC Sierra AT4 Price

The base configuration for the 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 includes a smaller V8 displacement. The price of the entry-level version is $55,000. General Motors slaps the higher price compared to Ford F-150 Raptor and its truck is making 100 ponies fewer. A 10-speed transmission adds $200. A 6.2-liter engine and turbodiesel version will cost the same – just under $58,000. CarbonPro box will cost $1,000 and the Premium Package will add advanced infotainment features, such as navigation and wireless charging. You need to pay $3,400 for this one. Heavily loaded, the truck can cost nearly $70,000.
