Under the hood of new Sport will be a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, that can produce 150 hp and 145 lb-ft of torque. But, the power is the weak spot of this model, but the different type of engine is announced for the next season.

The 2020 Nissan Rogue offers only one engine option. It is a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder powertrain can accomplish 170 hp and 175 lb-ft of twist. But, the Rogue will have a hybrid engine that uses a smaller 2.0-liter drivetrain and electric motor. The combined output of these two is 176 hp. Both engines are connected to a CVT automatic that sends power to either front- or all-wheel drive.

The CVT offers three modes: Normal, Sport and Eco. Furthermore, the hybrid model can run entirely on electric power at low speed and limited distances. This way the hybrid improve, even more, its overall fuel-economy numbers. The EPA city/highway fuel economy for 2.5-liter inline 4 is 26/33 mpg for front-wheel drive and 25/32 mpg for all-wheel drive. 2020 Nissan Rogue Release Date and Price

The 2020 Nissan Rogue comes with the base model’s MSRP starting at $26,500. This price includes a $1,000 of destination charge. However, the Hybrid is not available at this level. The gasoline-only SV adds 17″ x 7.0″ Aluminum-alloy wheels, Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control, Rear Automatic Braking, and starts around $28,700. The top-line Rogue SL comes with a price tag just under $33,00.

With the SL you’ll get leather-appointed seats, 19″ x 7.0″ Aluminum-alloy wheels, Nissan Door to Door Navigation with Premium Traffic and plenty of standards and additional equipment. Moreover, you can add all-wheel drive to any model, and that will cost an extra $1,500. With these set of prices, 2020 Nissan Rogue is in the range with Ford Escape, Mazda CX-5, and Toyota RAV4. The release date of brand-new Rogue is set to second quartal of 2020.
