2020 Nissan Rogue is very efficient, comfortable, and a reliable SUV. With the newly redesigned exterior and excellent performances, the Rogue is set to continue its remarkable result, a company’s best-selling vehicle. However, the Rogue will face tough competition, with the similar-size SUVs comes with more powerful engines and real off-road ability.
Still, this vehicle stands out with appealing design, attractive price, spacious cabin and available hybrid engine. The only drivetrain option is a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder that is powerful enough to satisfy any customer. Although the Rogue can’t tow like Ford Escape, or give you as much fun as Mazda CX-5, the new model delivers plenty of high-tech innovations, a quiet and elegant interior, reliability and a smooth ride.

2020 Nissan Rogue Redesign
The famous Japanese carmaker will bring more than a few significant changes for the 2020 Nissan Rogue. The new model comes with a bunch of vibrant colors, strong lines, and more aggressive wheel design. The exterior looks very fresh and appealing, with a showy “V-motion” grille and boomerang-style taillights. Also, the side glass is quite tall, until it reaches the rear-most pillar, where a strongly upturned beltline makes a minor blind spot. The motion-activated power rear liftgate is available as well, and it will give the Rogue new splendid feel.
Moreover, some creative features like the optional 19-inch wheels, panoramic glass moonroof, and LED headlights will give this SUV the unique identity and noticeable style. Furthermore, the safety packages will include features like a standard automatic braking system, lane departure warning, and auto high beams. One of the new things is the Rear Door Alert system. This system reminds the driver to check the rear seats. Finally, the rear sonar is added to the SV and SL models, and the ProPilot Assist now comes as a part of the standard equipment.
Interior
The interior of upcoming 2020 Nissan Rogue heightens the company’s image for beautiful and fashionable cabins. Inside you will find plenty of soft-touch materials, catchy illumination, and a remarkable amount of modern technologies. The fully adjustable flat-bottom steering wheel is leather-wrapped, and it will give the drivers especially good feel when it’s in the hands. Moreover, the NASA-inspired “Zero-Gravity” front seats are very supportive and comfortable.
The first and the second-row offers an excellent headroom, and the legroom is very good as well. Also, with the EZ-Flex 40/20/40-split second-row bench that tilts and slides, the passengers can occupy even more space. Furthermore, the standard equipment adds a couple of surprises to the base model. The Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity are available, and the flexible Divide-n-Hide cargo storage and the Safety Shield system are innovations to mention. On top of that, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Safety Alert, and Rear Door Alert comes as standard on all models.

Nissan Rogue Sport
The new 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport will make a debut in the showrooms with some minor tweaks and changes. The Sport is a smaller version of the base model, and more intended for younger customers. With an overall length of 172 inches, the new Sport in almost 12 inches shorter than the base Rogue. The smaller dimension indicates limited interior space and incapacious second-row room. However, the fuel economy is remarkable, and with optional features, the Sport model should be interesting enough for future customers.
The exterior will be slightly redesigned as well. The headlights will look more like on the previous version, the grille should get a new treatment and the taillight will be improved also. Under the hood of new Sport will be a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, that can produce 150 hp and 145 lb-ft of torque. But, the power is the weak spot of this model, but the different type of engine is announced for the next season.

Engine
The 2020 Nissan Rogue offers only one engine option. It is a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder powertrain can accomplish 170 hp and 175 lb-ft of twist. But, the Rogue will have a hybrid engine that uses a smaller 2.0-liter drivetrain and electric motor. The combined output of these two is 176 hp. Both engines are connected to a CVT automatic that sends power to either front- or all-wheel drive.
The CVT offers three modes: Normal, Sport and Eco. Furthermore, the hybrid model can run entirely on electric power at low speed and limited distances. This way the hybrid improve, even more, its overall fuel-economy numbers. The EPA city/highway fuel economy for 2.5-liter inline 4 is 26/33 mpg for front-wheel drive and 25/32 mpg for all-wheel drive. For the Hybrid version, EPA city/highway fuel economy figures are 33/35 (FWD) and 31/31 mpg (AWD).
