The 2020 Cadillac Escalade is a full-size luxury SUV that comes with the bold exterior design, fine materials in the cabin and overall excellent performances. Base models are powered through their rear wheels (2WD). However, the four-wheel drive (4WD) will add to the total cost of the vehicle. The newest GM’s 10-speed automatic gearbox takes care of power delivery and brings the smooth shifting and pretty remarkable highway fuel economy.

The 2020 Cadillac Escalade offers four trim levels: Standard, Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Platinum. The MSRP for the entry-level trim is just under $76,500, including a $1,300 destination charge. Next, the Luxury trim level starts around $5,500 more. Premium Luxury trim starts at $86,500, and the most expensive Platinum just below $95,600. The ESV models add an extra $3,000.
Furthermore, adding the four-wheel drive will cost you another $3,000. However, if you check every single addition option, the price of Escalade may go over $100,000. With these price range, the 2020 Cadillac Escalade is ahead of the rivals. The main opponents will beLincoln Navigator, Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class and Infiniti QX80. The Audi Q7 and the Infiniti QX80 starts below these prices. With the slight delay in production, the new model will probably be ready for the NAIAS 2020. But, the official release date is still a mystery.
