The 2020 Buick Enclave changes a couple of things, to establish the recognizable style and appearance. First of all, the name of the entry-level trim is changed to the Preferred. Next, a heated steering wheel is a new feature on the Premier and Avenir models, and Avenir adds a new ebony interior as well. The new model will be 204.3 inches long and will ride on a 120.9-inch wheelbase. With these dimensions, Enclave is a pretty big vehicle, but the graceful exterior design takes a bit off that amount. You’ll notice that the famous Buick waterfall grille is gone, this feature becomes too old in a styling sense.
Now, a modern opening with wings extending from the tri-shield logo is in the place of that waterfall grille. Moreover, if you choose Avenir trim you’ll get a really smooth-looking 3D mesh grille. The new roofline makes this SUV look more like a tall sport wagon, like Mazda CX-9 or something, only bigger. The interior includes a layered dashboard with a chrome and wood accents surface. In the central part of the dash is an 8-inch screen, with analog gauges in front of the driver. The 2nd-row bench is not available on the new Enclave, but two cozy 2nd-row captain’s chairs are a decent substitute.

Moreover, the Avenir offers a sharper windshield angle, premium suspension, bi-functional LED projector headlamps, and a brand-new air ionizer. Also, the Avenir offers about ten-percent more interior space than the basic Preferred model. The upcoming 2020 Buick Enclave has four trim levels: Preferred, Essence, Premium, and Avenir. The MSRP for base front-wheel-only Buick Enclave Preferred starts at $42,000, including destination fee. The upper Essence trim level adds leather seats, blind spot monitoring, lane-change alert, and starts around $43,400. If you want an all-wheel drive that will cost you $2,000 more. The Premium trim level comes with the 10-speaker Bose audio system and a price tag of $49,500, and $51,800 for the AWD.
The 2020 Buick Enclave Avenir starts at $54,500, while the AWD version is $56,800. All model comes with a 4-year/50,000 mile limited bumper-to-bumper warranty. So, with these set of prices, new Enclave starts below the Acura MDX and Infiniti QX60 but cost more than the Mazda CX-9. The premiere of this model is yet unknown, but we can expect that the new Enclave will be readye for next North American International Auto Show.
